Who is Dabeiyuzhou?

Dabeiyuzhou (LIN Kunhao), born in 1990 in Fujian, digital artist, crypto artist, BCA Network’s represented artist. He is popular among the young generation because of his fashion and cyberpunk style of artworks. Know as oriental cyborg, he has strong fan base in China.

Dabeiyuzhou is one of high-profile digital artists in Asia. His artworks inlcude “For Future”, “Text Gene Project” and Virtual Butterfly series. As the originator of text NFT, he started to create “Text Gene Project” series from 2019, which is earlier than the start of LOOT, a famous NFT project. “Text Gene Project” is not limited to text, but is the combination of text, image and human voice interpretation. Known as extremely exquisite and transcendent virtual world, this series is a combination of eastern religious culture and cyberpunk. The importance of this series is, it explores endless possibilities of human-computer collaboration on digital art and metaverse in the future.

“Text Gene Project” series consist of 31 pieces. Some pieces of this series have been exhibited on many high-level offline exhibitions including“Virtual Niche”, the world’s first Cryptoart exhibition held at UCCA Lab, World Blockchain Conference 2021, the 2021 China Blockchain Industry Summit, WWART Expo Shanghai 2021, etc. Also, three artworks of this series have been collected by VulcanDAO, NFT-focused DAO in Asia.
