Since September, there are more artworks, users and transactions on MetaOpus. We have attracted many artists from all over the world to join MetaOpus, and many NFT collectors to register, visit and collect the artworks they love.

1、Artists

From 1th September to 30st September, there are 18 artists signed on MetaOpus, including IreneCerezo、Tang guozhi、Zachary Chen、luyao、Mong、dengqipeng、Zhongyao Wang、LEFT、CryptoAi、Aedel Fakhrie、Digitalgal、Acid Beach Cats and Nanel.

1）Wang Zhongyao

Chinese artist Wang Zhongyao graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. She is usually inspired by social scenes. She creates an artistic style that is more poetic and lyrical by using three-dimensional animation, photography, various static materials and archives. Wang Zhongyao focuses on cryptographic art and feminist issues. Her works have been exhibited in Shanghai Himalaya Art Museum, Wild Novelty Art Museum, Chinese Medical Museum, Screen Room, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, etc.

「 Aleph Behind The Doort」

This work called “Aleph Behind The Door”, is the artist’s response to metaverse. It’s divided into two parts. People can visit the online exhibition behind the door by holding tickets “Welcome to the Art world”.

Borges wrote that people can see the whole world in Aleph in 1949. Metaverse has turned Aleph which only exist in fantasy into the technology in real life. Aleph behind the door is Aleph on the screen today. People can see the whole world on screens.

2）Sun Zhongyuan (aka APP)

The artist Sun Zhongyuan (aka APP) was born in 1985. He currently lives and works in Suzhou. Majored in applied physics at the university, he learned photography continue creating after graduating and working for seven years. He is still fighting in the workplace while maintaining his identity as an artist. Due to their exaggerated modeling and color matching, the series of high-voltage works have completely subverted the boundary between photography and painting, and brought the audience into a time and space full of unknowns. Until now, more than 80 of his works have been collected by well-known collectors and large institutions.

「 Hyperspace contact 」

“Suddenly, a group of aliens appeared. with a concept that can only be understood by creatures at high latitudes, and recreated a luxury shopping mall in New York, USA. The entrance is no longer visible, and only the energy vortex is waiting for you to enter.Photography is the beginning of creation for me, and the later stage is a magical process. 3、Market Development

Honored to collect the first @Dabeiyuzhou collection, “Broken Poetry”, from his “Text Gene Project”. It’s an exploration of data self-awareness by the collaboration of human and machine, all verses and images are made by GAN.
