MetaOpus Biweekly Report（08/01–08/15）
In the first half of August, there are more artworks, users and transactions on MetaOpus. We have attracted many artists from all over the world to join MetaOpus, and many NFT collectors to register, visit and collect the artworks they love.
Specific contents are as follows.
Artists
From 1st August to 15th August, there are 16 signed artists on MetaOpus, including Marc Simonetti, LoverRoxieRen, Tôü, Super., d, vesperguo, MOSA, DMNT, wadada, Sneym, Pierre Gervois and Orderingfirst.
Marc Simonetti is a french artist who worked for 15 + years on cover arts ( Dune, Game of Thrones, Discworld, Lovecraft, etc…) , video games ( ubisoft, EA, Sony, etc), card games ( Magic the gathering), and movies ( Valerian with Luc Besson, Maleficient 2 , alladdin, etc…). Mostly known for the Iron Throne that he made for GRR Martin on Game of Thrones. Also, he has won 4 stabby awards on Reddit, one Chesley award.
Deep in the woods, when the sun plays with the colors of nature when you can hear the soft noise of running water you may see this mysterious being. The lucky ones that saw her cherish the memory of this sacred sight for the rest of their lifes.

DMNT’s work is a mix between his subconscious, compositional techniques and color, influenced by many years studying light and photography, surrounded by concepts that are quite critical of society.

Market Development
The NFT podcast “NFTalk” Vol. 1, “when classics are forced to be encrypted — After The Famous Artists Minted NFTs” has been successfully launched. Nearly 1,000 people watched it in an online chat room on Bilibili. The record has been released on the Blockbeats podcast and several other blockchain media channels.
Participated in “Cryptoart Panda” activities of Chinese crypto art.
Cryptoart Panda is a series of activities focusing on Chinese crypto art which will last for a month. All the activities are organized by the communities. Community members have provided lands, professional skills and resources. It has truly achieved that THE ART OF THE COMMUNITY, BY THE COMMUNITY AND FOR THE COMMUNITY. The activities include crypto art exhibition, music festival, NFT works creation with Panda theme, selection of crypto art, etc. Cryptoart Panda grows to be the most active force in Chinese crypto art community.
