BCAEX’s new functions are launched and optimized!

The BCAEX platform has finally launched new functions after continuous work by our developers!

In order to make the purchase process smoother for collectors, we have optimized and iterated some modules and launched the programmable artwork function.

1. The new function of programmable art is online (a “programmable art” that consists of several layers and can be changed by the owner):

For artists: artists can modify parameters (to design different layers, different states), these parameters can be changed by individual layer owner. Artists can use their imagination to their fullest.

For collectors: After purchasing a layer, the collector can modify the appearance of the layer through the parameters assigned to the layer status by the artist, and all the modification results will be reflected on the main image. For layer collectors, not only have the overall ownership of the painting but also have the right to recreate them.

How to upload your artworks?

1. Artists on the BCAEX platform can see the newly added upload portal of [Programmable Artwork] at the [Upload Works] portal. You need to create artwork and export each layer to the same size before uploading;

2. You can choose the default or customed sizes to create artwork;

3. Upload your artwork layer and status according to the guidance and prompts. After uploading is completed, it will be submitted to the BCAEX platform. After successful approval, it can be minted and sold. If you have any questions when uploading, you can click the help guide on each page to view the detailed operation steps and processes.

2. Function optimization:

1). Merger of bscnet.bcaex.co and bcaex.co

We have merged the artwork and data of BSC and ETH. Collectors can view all artwork on the BCAEX platform in the Market module of the BCAEX.co website for purchase; in the future, we will be compatible with more public chains for artwork purchase.

2). Optimized login function

In the past, when users log in to the BCAEX platform, we will directly determine whether to use the wallet/email method to log in based on whether you currently install the MetaMask wallet.

After modification:

You can freely choose the login method, by using the mailbox to sign in/sign up or MetaMask wallet to login;

If users who do NOT have MetaMask click “How to install”, there will be a detailed tutorial explaining how to operate the installation;

In the future, we will be compatible with multiple wallet methods to log in.

3. Market optimization

Market list browsing optimization:

1) Added artworks filter: you can select On-sale/Auction/Programmable artworks/BCA studio artworks;

2) Added the classification of artworks: you can choose to view artworks according to the categories you would like;

3) Modified the sorting function to sort the artworks according to the latest/hottest/price, etc.;

4) Added video/GIF/picture tags, so that you can see the type of artwork at a glance when browsing;

Market artwork detail page and purchase process optimization:

We divide the detail page into a primary market (artwork details module) and a secondary market (artwork holder module). The primary market sells artworks held by artists, and the secondary market is

open for the artwork holders who want to sell their artworks.

1. You can view all historical operation information and detailed information of the artwork on the details page;

2) When you click [buy now], it will be judged by the system whether the MetaMask wallet is installed or the network environment is in compliance, and the corresponding prompts and guidance will be given. Note: Please refresh the page after switching the network~

3) The release of artwork on the BCAEX platform is divided into two steps, minting and selling (why is there no price or cannot be purchased?)

Why is there no price?

the artist did not set a price for sale, all the artworks were collected, and no collectors resold them.

After minting, artists can see the artist’s new artwork on the platform (at this time, the artist cannot buy it at no price). You can choose to click the “I want to buy” button, and we will send emails to the collectors and artists you own to ask if you can resell or add new ones. When the artwork is sold, we will email you to the BCAEX platform to buy.

4. Added user help centre ( https://www.bcaex.co/#/FAQ )

Collectors or artists can click the “Help Center” button under the avatar or the FQA at the bottom of the website to enter this page. BCAEX operators will update this section from time to time based on new features or user feedback.
